Owners may also order a license through the mail or by submitting the completed application and check in the drop box located outside of City Hall. The Mail-in/Drop Box License Application Form is available on the City’s website and found on the City Clerk’s Department link under Licenses and Permits. Owners must mail proof of current rabies vaccination and include a self-addressed stamped envelope along with payment to City Clerk, 95 Pleasant Street, Room 121, Gardner, MA 01440-2630.
Residents who no longer own a previously registered dog are asked to notify the Town to avoid late notices and fees.
