Gardner Fire Department asks that if you have a fire hydrant in or near your property, to please help clear the snow away from it. We are all anxious for Spring, however with the latest snowfall and more in our forecast, Chief Ares is asking residents to please assist the department by keeping fire hydrants clear of snow. A three foot clearance on all sides is recommended for the best access to hydrants. GFD is extremely grateful for any and all assistance that residents are able to provide. Every second is an important in an emergency!
