2021 Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days Sponsored by Waste Management, for residents of Gardner.

Fitchburg/Westminster Landfill at 101 Fitchburg Rd (Rte. 31) Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 9am to noon.

Gardner Transfer Station (744 West St, Gardner) Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 9am to noon.


Residents from Gardner, Westminster and Fitchburg may attend either location. Registration is no longer required, however proof of residency (a State issued ID listing a Gardner, Westminster, or Fitchburg address) to access either site. Vehicles will be taken in turn, beginning at 9am, 50 gallons of material maximum per vehicle, however only 5 gallons of gasoline per vehicle. To transport material safely: Leave materials in original containers, do not mix chemicals. Use sturdy boxes, not bags, to pack your materials. Do not smoke near the material or in the Transfer Station. Contractor reserves the right to reject unacceptable material.
