Volunteer Incentive Program
The City of Gardner is now accepting applications for the 2026 Senior & Veteran VIPS Program. This initiative allows eligible residents to volunteer for public service and earn up to $1,000 in property tax credits for Fiscal Year 2027. The total credit is based on the number of volunteer hours completed.
Eligibility:
- Open to Gardner residents aged 60 or older and Veterans.
- Applicants must either own or be the spouse of the homeowner and reside in the property for which the tax credit is requested.

- The deadline to submit applications is February 28, 2026.
