The 2019 Transfer Station stickers are still available, they are good from now to June 30th 2019. These stickers will expire on June 30th 2019. The cost is $50 for residents who do not have curb-side trash pickup and $20 for residents with curb-side trash pickup. These stickers can be purchased online or at the Board of Health office in City Hall room 29.
*The NEW 2020 Transfer Station stickers (valid from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020) will be on sale after May 15th, 2019.
Board of Health office Hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
To obtain a Transfer Station permit, bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration for which the permit will be issued. Payment at the Board of Health must be cash or check only, we do not accept credit or debit cards. The Gardner Transfer station is for Gardner residents only.
In the event that your vehicle is sold or a windshield is replaced, the sticker must be REMOVED & RETURNED to the Board of Health for a free replacement sticker. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3/17/2017 - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING LATEX PAINT CANS IN THE PAINT SHED AT THE TRANSFER STATION. ONLY DRIED LATEX PAINT IN CANS WITHOUT LIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AS PART OF A REGULAR TRASH VOLUME LOAD.
