Election & Voting Information
Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the City Council voted on May 4th to postpone the Special Preliminary to Tuesday, June 2 and the Special Election to Tuesday, June 30. As you are aware, the elections will determine who will serve as Mayor through 2021, with the Special Preliminary election deciding the two candidates whose names will appear on the June 30 ballot.
While the City will be taking many precautions during the two in person voting events, we are strongly encouraging voters to utilize early voting mail using the 2020 Municipal Election Early Ballot Application. A letter and a copy of this application is being mailed to all eligible voters in the City of Gardner as well as a prepaid Ballot Return Envelope.
