Veterans Benefits
The Gardner Veterans board exists to assist Veterans and their dependents in filing for State and Federal benefits as follows:
- Assist with applications for Veterans Affairs entitlements
- Applying for Massachusetts General Law Chapter 115 benefits including cash benefits and medical assistance
- To counsel veterans and refer to other agencies as needed
- To file copies of separation documents for safekeeping
- To see that a proper funeral and burial is provided for a veteran and/or adult dependent as per regulations established by the Commissioner of Veteran Services
There are no fees for any of the services provided by this department.
