City Council Minutes 11/16/2009-Public Hearing
Monday evening, November 16, 2009.  Joint Public Hearing of the City Council and Planning Board held in the Council Chambers, City Hall.~ Hearing called to order by President Janssens at 7:00 o’clock p.m.

Eight Councillors present (Councillors Ares, Boudreau, J. Cormier, R. Cormier, Graves, Jaillet, Minns, President Janssens), three absent (Councillors Anderson, Dembrosky, and Robinson).  Four Planning Board members present (Chairman Allen Gross, Laura Casker, Peter Sabettini, and Mark Shafron), one absent (Robert Bettez).  Robert L. Hubbard, Community Development & Planning Director, was also present.

President Janssens read aloud the Notice of PUBLIC HEARING:


CITY OF GARDNER
NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING BOARD

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 5 of Chapter 40A of the General Laws, notice is hereby given that the Gardner City Council and Planning Board will conduct a Joint Public Hearing on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, Gardner City Hall to consider amending Zoning Ordinance Section 9, Part 914 (6) to read as follows:

Political Signs and Posters – Political signs and posters are allowed on private property.

SPEAKING IN OPPOSITION: None.                                           

President Janssens declared the Public Hearing closed at 7:04 o’clock p.m.
