Monday evening, July 6, 2009, Regular Meeting of the City Council held in the Council Chambers, City Hall.~ Meeting called to order by President Janssens at
7:30 o’clock p.m.
Roll call taken – 9 members present, 2 absent(Councillors Graves & Robinson)
The Opening Prayer was recited in unison.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited in unison.
On motion made by Councillor J. Cormier, seconded by Councillor Anderson, it was voted 9 yeas, 2 absent(Councillors Graves and Robinson)to accept minutes of June 15,2009, June 22, 2009.
On motion made by Councillor Dembrosky, seconded by Councillor R. Cormier, it was voted 9 yeas, 2 absent(Councillor Graves and Robinson) to amend the minutes of June 1, 2009 relative to the wording of the advertisement of City Clerk.
On motion made by Councillor R. Cormier, seconded by Councillor Ares, it was voted
9 yeas, 2 absent(Councillor Graves and Robinson) to elect CHARLINE DAIGLE AS CITY
TAX COLLECTOR for a period of 60 days.

AN ORDER TRANSFERRING A SUM OF MONEY FROM GOLF COURSE, EQUIPMENT TO GOLF LABORERS SALARY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2008 TO JUNE 30, 2009.
ORDERED:
That there be and is hereby transferred the sum of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS AND NO CENTS($10,000.00) from Golf Course Equipment to Golf Course, Laborers Salary for

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING RULES, ORDERS AND ORDINANCES FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC FOR THE CITY OF GARDNER, MASSACHUSETTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GARDNER AS FOLLOWS:
That “Rules, Orders, and Ordinances for the Regulation of Traffic for the City of Gardner, Massachusetts”(Compilation of Ordinances No. 48) and amended several times thereafter be further amended by adding to ARTICLE VI, SECTION 2(NO PARKING)
the following:
