  2. Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

    November 2, 2017, 5:00 PM @ Alyssa's Place Peer Support Recovery & Resource Center

    This free 8 hour course teaches adults who interact with adolescents the unique risk factors and warning signs of common mental health problems in adolescents including anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use disorder, and disruptive behavior disorder and gain an understanding of the importance of early intervention. As certified Youth Mental Health First Aiders, adults will possess a strong awareness of the mental health challenges facing youth in our community and greater confidence in their ability to approach and assist young people developing signs of a mental health challenge, substance use or an emotional crisis.

  4. Emotions Anonymous Women's Group

    Emotions Anonymous offers a 12-step program to help people cope with stress in daily living and to live a healthier emotional life. The program is open to anyone who has a desire to become emotionally well. Members attend for various reasons, among them depression, anxiety, relationship problems and other emotional difficulties.

  5. The Greater Gardner Artist Association Meeting

    November 2, 2017, 6:30 PM @ Boland Room

    Demonstration will be by Mary Lselin, a painter from Marlboro, NH. She lives on a farm and her paintings feature horses and sheep. Her landscape is filled with bright colors and atmosphere. Mary has won many awards for her paintings and they are in collections nationwide. Come see this talented painter. Please bring one of your paintings for artist of the month. All are welcome.
