The Municipal Grounds Department was formed in the 1980’s, combining several departments. They are the cemetery, forestry, parks and playgrounds, recreation, flood control and insect pest control. This department is run by a Director, Secretary, Foreman, Forestry Maintenance Man and two Special Heavy Motor Equipment Operators.
