The City of Gardner has recently upgraded it's community notification system with CodeRED to include severe weather warnings. CodeRED has been used by the City for the past several years to keep citizens informed about road closures, trash pickup delays, traffic alerts, criminal activities and missing persons to name a few. Recently, services have been upgraded to include severe weather warnings. The CodeRED Weather Warning service will help officials disseminate important or critical information alerting citizens of impending severe thunderstorms, flash floods, blizzards and tornadoes.
